Hollywood Bowl

LollaBeth was very kind enough to share her Hollywood Bowl tickets with us. Here are some pictures taken on 9/15/06.

Seems the "routine" at HB is to have a picnic first. They have a lot of picnic tables around, you just have to be early to secure one. For our picnic, we brought pasta (2 kinds, pesto and meat sauce), rotisserie chicken, garden salad, mango, brownies, chicharon, and most importantly, WINE. LollaBeth and I finished the bottle of wine, pigang-piga.

So after eating, we went on to our seats, and they were lovely seats, mind you. The show, Fireworks Finale with John Mauceri and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, was very very good. You would think we would get bored listening to classical music for 2 hours. But actually, it was pretty amazing. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy were there as special guests. The fireworks, of course, was fantastic.
